Are you skipping meals? Studies show that skipping meals, especially breakfast, may be associated with obesity. When you skip breakfast, you can put your body in what is called pre-starvation mode.
This usually causes you to overeat at your next meal and lead to the consumption of more high-calorie snacks in effort to ease the hunger. In turn, managing weight will become much more challenging.

Eating a healthy breakfast jump starts your metabolism and provides energy. With the hectic days we entrepreneurs sometimes experience, this boost of energy may be just the trick to keep us going.
If that is not enough incentive, you should know that an individual who eats breakfast will make healthier food choices throughout the day, do good with work and are also less likely to develop type 2 diabetes.

Breakfast does not have to be time consuming. Did you know that making a peanut butter, banana and spinach smoothie ONLY takes 3 minutes to make? Yes, I said spinach…lol.
You may be thinking to yourself that this looks good but I bet its not as tasty as it looks. Guess what?
This is a healthy and yummy combination and you will not even taste the spinach.
Here is the recipe:
8 oz of 30 calorie vanilla almond milk 1 scoops of this protein powder 1 tablespoon of natural peanut butter 1/2 of a frozen banana 1/2 cup of spinach optional: sprinkle chocolate chunks and coconut flakes
Do not fall prey to the myth that skipping the most important meal of the day will shed a few extra pounds. Those of you who skip breakfast due to the idea that you will lose weight are actually setting themselves up for disappointment.
The benefits of breakfast far outweigh the “believed benefits” of no breakfast, so grab your shake or smoothie and start your day off the right way.
